Caribbean Steak Sandwich
- 9 oz. pkg. Steak-umm® Sliced Steaks
- 2 whole wheat steak rolls, toasted
- 4 slices pepper jack cheese
- 3 tsp Jamaican jerk seasoning
- Sweet potato fries (optional)
Pineapple Cucumber Relish
- 1 cup diced fresh pineapple
- 1 cup diced cucumber
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 jalapeno, minced
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Sea salt
Cut frozen steaks into 1-inch strips, toss with Jamaican jerk seasoning until coated and cook as directed on package; set aside. Combine relish ingredients in a bowl, set aside. Melt the jack cheese on the toasted rolls, fill with cooked steak and top with relish. Serve with sweet potato fries.
Makes two large sandwiches, or cut in half for four small sandwiches.
