Zingy Steak-umm® & Pepper Sandwich

  • 8 Steak-umm® Sliced Steaks
  • 1 tsp. canola oil
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1/2 red pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 green pepper, sliced
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

In nonstick pan, cook steaks as directed on package, chopping steak with utensil as you cook; set aside.

Add canola oil and sauté onions and peppers until slightly tender. Add ketchup, water, vinegar, chili powder and Worcestershire sauce; mix well. Stir steak into onion and pepper mixture. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

Serve on hard rolls. May also be served over rice.
